If you are searching for an alternative to that preservative-filled, store bought ranch seasoning mix, look no further. My guess is you already have all of the ingredients siting in your pantry and it couldn’t be more simple to put together. 3 minutes of time in your kitchen is all it takes…and its so yummy!

Better Ranch Seasoning
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley
3 Teaspoons Onion Powder
2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
1 3/4 Teaspoons Dried Dillweed
1 Teaspoon Dried Chives
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and stir to combine-If you prefer your seasoning texture fine, grind the spices together in a spice grinder/blender. Store in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
To Make Ranch Dressing:
Mix 1 Tablespoon of Ranch Seasoning with 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise and 1/4 Cup Buttermilk. Whisk well to combine. Store in the refrigerator.
*If you do not have buttermilk you can easily make your own: Mix 1 cup of milk with 1 heaping tablespoon of vinegar. Let stand at room temperature for five minutes to thicken.
To Make Ranch Dip:
Mix 1 Tablespoon Ranch Seasoning with 2/3 Cup Sour Cream (add more seasoning as desired). Whisk well to combine. Store in the refrigerator.
Actually I have been searching for an alternative! Thank you! The grocery store dressings are horrible (ingredient wise) and it is hard to find organic so I usually just use olive oil or basalmic. I am definitely going to try this!
I’m so glad you find it useful! It’s a staple in our fridge:) Let me joe what you think…thank you for the note!
