Well, friends, the Vikings lost. While I’m not much of a follower of the NFL, that game was a major deal in our home. Mostly because we were excited to watch our hometown team while having an “appetizer dinner” on the couch….but nonetheless, my heart couldn’t help but break a little for those players. It was a good run, MN!
Our dinner consisted of the worlds largest charcuterie board put together by the kids complete with dips, fruits, meats, chocolate, nuts, the whole she-bang…and this queso dip. This little gem of a queso dip! Continue reading

Weekend warriors! It’s Saturday! What’s the good word?
We have a whole lot of nothing planned this weekend and I just couldn’t be more thrilled about it. It’s funny. Sunday, in my brain, is supposed to be for ‘Sunday Meals’. You know, the fancy, time-consuming meals you can’t get accomplished during the week. But rarely does it end up being that way around here. Sunday is typically the day I go out during nap time and get my meal plan/shopping done for the week. It sounds silly, but that little mission takes time, so I am always rushing back home to get dinner on the table before it’s too late. Sunday dinners usually need to be low maintenance and ultra quick for me.
