Hey there! I am Melissa, a 41 year old wife, mom of three and certified holistic nutritionist who is passionate beyond words about my family, food and the food I feed my family. Finding better ways to enjoy the everyday foods we love is a soft spot for me and I believe very strongly that food not only provides us nourishment, but brings us together around the table.
Thank you for stopping by…I’d love for you to follow along and stay for a while!
That is one awesomely beautiful family!
So blessed to be part of your famee!!!!!!!!! xoxoxo

what a treat to hear from you, Jenn! thank you…hope all is well!
Indeed!! what a wonderful family..I love your recipes, so simple to make! when I look at the recipe pictures, it’s making me wanna go to the kitchen and try that dish. Love it!
Just ran across your blog and I am in love with your recipes and your approach to food. I haven’t tried a single one yet, but several are very similar to some of my own, so I just know you are on track. I also cook almost all gluten free for my little peach, so that helps a lot too! Can’t wait to get home and start cooking some of these!
Linda you just made my day, thank you! I hope you enjoy some of the recipes, great minds think alike 😉

Hi, Melissa. I’d like to talk to you for a health/wellness story I’m writing for the Star Tribune. Can you please email me ASAP with your contact info? Thanks much!
HI Missi! just saw someone comment on your facebook about your blog so I went to check it out! I plan to try out some of these recipes too.. they look yummy and not too complicated so thats great for me! glad to see you doing well! Mary Blessing
Mary..what a treat to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by! Definitely keep me posted on what you try out..id love to hear your feedback:) I hope all is wonderful with you…Facebook shows me that your always up to such cool, exciting adventures..I’m so happy for you!
Ok Missi. I tell everyone about your blog. Share with a caterer just today. Thought I had heard of everything but haven’t seen ” fish sauce” before. Please elaborate. Love, your biggest Knoxville groupie.
Oh Miss Cindy…I’m definitely blushing over here…thank you a million for your support! Fish sauce is quite a flavor bomb. You can find it in the Asian section of almost any market and it’s a sauce made of fermented anchovies and salt..savory salty to the max:) Now get your cute teezo to the Midwest..we all miss you and that darling family that seems to be growing up WAY too quickly! Xo
Hi Melissa,
My name is KP Kwan and I am a Malaysian who run the tasteasianfood.com blog.
I was browsing your website NourishedPeach this morning and came across your recipe: Asian Tuna Salad. I also saw your recipe Simple Chicken Coconut Curry at kare11.com.
I totally agree with you that Asian food can be complicated for non-Asian. Therefore, I am working on a related topic recently: The simple Asian sauces and the related recipes.
The whole idea is to simplify the cooking process.
I thought you’d love to give me some feedback because we share the same interest in cooking.
Let me know if you’re interested in seeing it and I’d be happy to forward along the link when I publish it.
Cheers,
KP Kwan

Nice to “meet” you, Melissa. I had to come back to check out your name, as I wanted to call you “Peach”🍑 …which, by the way, is not a bad name to be called. It was a name my daughter took for a while when we lived in the South, and she was obsessed with peaches. She ate them, sketched them, took it on as a part of her internet handle. 🍑 I am enjoying your blog. Thanks for visiting mine.
Why thank you so much…I really enjoy keeping up with your blog! And for the record, I’d totally answer to peach:) thank you for the kind note!
